About Spanish courses
Our courses use the Common European Framework of Reference as a guide, so there are six levels of Spanish: A1 and A2 (Basic), B1 and B2 (Intermediate), C1 and C2 (Advanced).
Here we show you your learning journey to master Spanish language.
Spanish A1: Start
- At the end of this course, you will be able to understand and use everyday expressions of very frequent use, as well as simple phrases designed to satisfy immediate needs.
- You will be able to introduce yourself and others, ask for and give basic personal information about your address, your belongings and the people you know.
- You can socialize in an elementary way as long as your interlocutor speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to cooperate.
Spanish A2: Continue
- At the end of this course, you will be able to understand frequently used phrases and expressions related to areas of experience that are especially relevant to you (basic information about yourself and your family, shopping, places of interest, occupations, etc.).
- You will know how to communicate when carrying out simple and daily tasks that do not require more than simple and direct exchanges of information on issues that are familiar or habitual to you.
- You will know how to describe in simple terms aspects of your past and your environment, as well as issues related to your immediate needs.
Spanish B1: Progress
- At the end of this course you will be able to understand the main points of clear texts and those in standard language if they deal with familiar issues, whether in work, study or leisure situations.
- You will know how to deal with most of the situations that may arise during a trip through areas where Spanish language is used.
- You will be able to produce simple and coherent texts on topics that are familiar to you or in which you have a personal interest.
- You will be able to describe experiences, events, wishes and aspirations, as well as briefly justify your opinions or explain your plans.
Spanish B2: Advance
- At the end of this course you will be able to understand the main ideas of complex texts that deal with both concrete and abstract topics, even if they are of a technical nature, as long as they are within your field of specialization.
- You will be able to interact with native speakers with a sufficient degree of fluency and naturalness, so that communication is carried out without effort on the part of the interlocutors.
- You will be able to produce clear and detailed texts on various topics, as well as defend a point of view on general topics, indicating the pros and cons of the different options.
Spanish C1: Strengthen
- At the end of this course you will be able to understand a wide variety of long texts with a certain level of demand, as well as recognize implicit meanings in them.
- You will know how to express yourself fluently and spontaneously without very obvious signs of effort to find the right expression.
- You will be able to make flexible and effective use of the language for social, academic and professional purposes.
- You will be able produce clear, well-structured and detailed texts on topics of a certain complexity, showing correct use of the organization, articulation and cohesion mechanisms of the text.
Spanish C2: Master
- At the end of this course, you will be able to easily understand practically everything you hear or read.
- You will know how to reconstruct information and arguments from various sources, whether in spoken or written language, and present them in a coherent and summarized manner.
- You will be able to express yourself spontaneously, with great fluency and with a degree of precision that will allow you to differentiate small nuances of meaning even in more complex situations.
